Needs to be a real, publicly reachable HLS stream carrying real #EXT-X-CUE-OUT SCTE-35 cues — this polls it live and splices in an ad the moment a break appears. The ad source is fixed server-side (not something you configure here). Sessions auto-stop after a while. Real ad breaks are infrequent — even with the example channel, it can take a few minutes of watching before one actually shows up. Playback quality here depends on the source channel's own network — this mode plays a single fixed rendition with no adaptive bitrate switching, so occasional stalling reflects the upstream feed, not the splice pipeline.
